He has taken up the War Room Politics of Telangana BJP. The State Unit which the party high command feels is totally inept was bypassed and this War Room unit reports directly to Amit Shah’s Office. They are currently conducting surveys in all the constituencies to estimate the strength of the party. They will also recommend the candidates who are capable of winning the election.
The State Unit already submitted the first list of candidates to Amit Shah and we are told that most of those names were struck down on the recommendation of the War Room. The State Unit Leaders themselves are shocked at the influence of this new entity on the party high command. BJP is the only major party contesting independently besides TRS.
The party’s position is so bad that it is struggling to win the five seats it has won the last time unless TRS helps them indirectly. This is in contrast to the performance of BJP in the rest of the country where the saffron party is winning election after election almost effortlessly. Any drubbing in this elections will embarrass Narendra Modi big time ahead of the General Elections in 2019.
