T-Bill passed in Lok Sabha!

Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill-2013 is passed in Lok Sabha, the lower house of Parliament a short while ago. The discussion on Telangana Bill lasted for just under 20 minutes. Representing the Government, Shinde started the discussion and spoke about the intention behind the bill for about 13 minutes. Later on, Sushma Swaraj’s speech lasted for 10 minutes. BJP offered unconditional support to the bill and as a eye washer to Seema Andhra people, Sushma assured that their government when formed will do justice to Seema Andhra people.

Later on Telangana bill is passed in Lok Sabha by voice vote. Voting may be done to the remaining amendments. There are total 64 amendments recommended to the bill by the government and private members. The bill will be taken up for discussion in Rajya Sabha tomorrow. Political Experts say passing of the bill is a mere formality in Rajya Sabha and the Telangana formation is now complete.

On the other side, Festival like scenes appeared in Telangana region as people hit the streets celebrating the moment. In Seema Andhra region, resignations started to flow from Congress Party with several MLAs and MPs resigning to both the party and their posts.
