Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party has contested recent Andhra Pradesh Elections with Glass Tumbler as the Symbol. The party is still waiting for the results which will decide its fate. On the other side, Janasena is keen on contesting the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC Elections in Telangana.
But the party ran into an unexpected problem. The party will contest on Glass Tumbler Symbol in ZPTC Elections but Election Commission refused the same symbol for MPTC Elections as the Symbol is not present in the list of Symbols of the Election Commission. Janasena is allotted Bat Symbol for MPTC Elections.
Having Two different symbols for MPTC and ZPTC Elections will make it difficult for Janasena in canvassing. This will only confuse the party voters. Elections are being planned for the posts of 5,817 MPTCs and 583 ZPTCs of Telangana in three phases on 6th, 10th, and 14th of May.
