Suspense Over Indian Teen After Jumping Off Bridge in U.S.A desperate and grieving family of a teen missing from December 13 is awaiting news about him. The 16-year-old identified as Shreyas Kelkar was an American higher schooler who has been missing from the evening of December 13, after he was spotted at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

The search started immediately after the California Highway Patrol office after a splash was reported in the water. The boy was originally from Sunnyvale, California. Shreyas’ bicycle, helmet, his bag were found on the bridge.

Shreyas’ father Ashish Kelkar says he found nothing in the bag, though he did not open his son’s phone as yet. However, he informed the police that his son was sort of quiet for the past two to three months and the parents attributed it to the ‘teen phase’. They have lodged a missing complaint and are praying frantically that he be found.

Shreyas was a student of Homestead High School and was interested in studying applied mathematics.

Over the years, families of victims and psychiatrists working with the Bridge Rail Foundation have been advocating for lifesaving modifications to the bridge.
