It is known to our readers that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy approached Telangana High Court seeking exemption from the court appearances in CBI related cases. He sought the permission of the court to allow another accused to represent him in the future court appearances.
Today, CBI has filed the counter in this case. The Premiere investigating agency has maintained that the presence of the accused in severe financial fraud cases is extremely necessary. They also alleged that Jagan tried to influence the witnesses previously and it would be even easy for him being the Chief Minister.
The court posted the next hearing of the case to April 9th which means around Two Months. Jagan can give a miss to the CBI court citing the petition pending in the High Court. But since there is no such petition is filed regarding the ED cases, he will have to attend the court every Friday in relation to ED cases.
