Survey: Anti-Wave Against BJP, TDP To Suffer?Lokniti-CSDS-ABP News Mood of the Nation Survey has hinted about Modi government trailing in the Public Perception. Modi’s popularity is down from 44% to 37% while Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s popularity is up to 20% from 9%.

Interestingly, in South India, Rahul Gandhi is preferred more as the Prime Minister than Narendra Modi if elections are held today. Almost all the major states have reported higher dissatisfaction with the Modi government than in May 2017.

The survey also reported that the dissatisfaction with Modi Government is highest in Andhra Pradesh. 48% are satisfied with Modi government in AP and 38% are dissatisfied in May 2017. In January 2018, a whopping 52% are dissatisfied while 37% are satisfied.

The survey indicates that there is an intense anti-government wave against the Modi Government in the South especially Andhra Pradesh. There is a severe distress among TDP cadre on this survey worrying that this may impact TDP as well in the state if Naidu does not pull out of NDA.
