It is known to our readers that the development and all constructions in Amaravati have come to a standstill after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power. But now, as a surprise, the government is gearing up to resume some of the construction works.
The Amaravati Metropolitan Region Authority (AMRDA) is preparing to complete the construction work of MLAs and MLCs Buildings in Amaravati. These buildings are completed except for fifteen percent of the works. As the financial difficulties are on for AMRDA, negotiations began to obtain a surplus loan from a consortium of banks.
These are G+12 buildings. AMRDA is also working to resume the construction of unfinished roads in the capital Amravati. Also, Reverse Tendering will happen very soon for the construction of a complex of 14 court halls at the AP High Court premises in Nelapadu. The 76,000 sq ft G+3 court complex will be built on the High Court premises at a cost of Rs 29 crore.
Meanwhile, there are rumors in certain media houses that Government wants to finish the buildings of MLAs and MLCs and would want to monetize them.
