YSR Congress Mangalagiri MLA, Alla Rama Krishna Reddy filed a petition in the Supreme Court asking the court to expedite the Cash for Vote Scam involving TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Congress Working President Revanth Reddy. The court has agreed to take up the case in February.
The Counsel representing Chandrababu Naidu brought to the notice of the court that Alla has nothing to do with this case and is doing this only for Politics. The court refused to buy the argument. It also refused to stall the case hearing until the completion of the elections. The timing of this verdict has become a point of discussion.
It comes just a day after Chandrababu Naidu met Congress President Rahul Gandhi and pledged to work together to bring down the fascist regime of Narendra Modi. Also, it comes days before the notification of Telangana Elections. TDP and Congress are contesting together in the election.
