Supreme-Court-Avinash-Reddy-Anticipatory-BailIt is known that the high court of Telangana had recently ordered the CBI not to arrest YS Avinash Reddy in connection with the YS Viveka murder case after he filed for an anticipatory bail.

Following the Telangana high court order, Viveka’s daughter YS Sunitha approached the Supreme Court, asking for a stay on Avinash’s bail petition.

Now, the Supreme Court has passed a stay order in the Telangana high court’s order to CBI not to arrest Avinash till the 25th of this month.

The Supreme Court pointed out that the Telangana court’s order isn’t right. The CBI lawyers had also pointed out that there’s a chance Avinash can influence the investigation if he gets interim bail. The Supreme Court sided with the argument and passed an interim order.

The Supreme Court stated that the next hearing on this case will be on the 24th of April and the facts will be verified then.

Meanwhile, Avinash is currently facing CBI investigation. He is being questioned about his involvement in the murder case.
