Former Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy is not getting on well with the party for more than a year. Balineni is Jagan’s relative from his mother’s side.
We have seen him getting shunted out of the cabinet. Jagan kept on naming him in the list of non-performing MLAs in the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam program. There were rumors in the constituency that Balineni may change party at the right time.
Recently, he was insulted by the officials in Jagan’s Markapuram tour in the name of Protocol.
Now, Balineni had resigned as the Regional Coordinator for YSR Congress in Chittoor, Tirupati, and Nellore constituencies. He cited his busy schedule as the reason but this resignation has become a point of discussion in the party.
Balineni was a minister in the Congress government when Jagan floated YSR Congress. He resigned and contested By-election for Jagan. Now, the same Jagan Mohan Reddy has insulted him by removing him from the cabinet while promoting his Juniors.
Discussions are on in the constituency if Balineni will be leaving the party very soon.
