Prakasam District Darsi Sub-inspector A.Chandrasekhar and Deputy Tahsildar A.Ravishankar went on a trip to Bangkok along with the leaders of the ruling party.
The former chairman of the Agriculture Market Committee, Darsi Nagar Panchayat Councillor, some sarpanches, ration dealers, and other 20 other people went on a foreign trip which went viral on social media.
It is reported that the SI went to Bangkok after reporting to the authorities that he needed leave for personal work.
This has become a topic of discussion in the police department.
After the news spread out like a wildfire, District SP Malika Garg said that the issue of SI’s visit has come to their notice and said that a departmental investigation is being conducted.
She said that the regulations do not allow police to go abroad without the permission of the police officers.
The SP said that if the allegations are true after investigation, strict action will be taken.
