Telangana Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy attended a Program in Agriculture University in Rajendra Nagar. Students have come in his way and blocked his way demanding that the vacancies in Agriculture and Veterinary departments to be filled immediately. Police intervened and that resulted in severe counter arguments between both the sides.
Police expected normalcy to be restored but students got agitated further and locked the minister in a room. They also warned the government of a state wide agitation if their problems are not addressed. Police have taken the University in to their country but Veterinary doctors are still continuing their protests.
