C_Kalyan_on_Film_Workers_StrikeFilm workers have gone on a sudden strike from today demanding a 30% increase in their wages. Film Chamber has taken a serious view of workers going on a sudden strike without serving the strike notice fifteen days in advance.

Film Chamber and industry biggies have called for a Pressmeet and served an ultimatum.

“Workers did not serve the notice even now. Only messages have been sent to the media. Due to their sudden strike, the industry has suffered Crores of rupees loss today. Outdoor shootings got stopped and suffered so much,” they said.

“Workers should start shootings from tomorrow unconditionally in the old system. Only then, talks about wage revision will begin on the day after tomorrow,” C Kalyan said.

“If the shootings do not start tomorrow, producers ourselves will stop shootings. We are positive about increasing wages,” C Kalyan served an ultimatum to the workers.

It has to be seen if this solves the issue or complicates it further.
