Staunch YSR Loyalist K Ramachandra Murthy Steps Down as Jagan's AdvisorSenior journalist and former editorial director of Sakshi media house K Ramachandra Murthy has resigned to the post of advisor to Andhra Pradesh government for public policy. Rama Chandra Murthy, a loyalist of Late YSR was instrumental in making Sakshi a significant source of support for Jagan when in Opposition.

He was rewarded for that after Jagan came into power with the Cabinet rank that fetched him Rs 3.5 lakh salary apart from perks. But Mr Murthy felt sidelined by the Chief Minister in recent times. It is said that he is even finding it tough to meet the Chief Minister these days.

“There was nothing much to do in the post and some of the tasks assigned to him were also clipped in recent times,” those in the know told us. So, Murthy has decided that enough is enough and resigned to his post. It is known that Ajay Kallam and PV Ramesh were also stripped of all their portfolios in CMO in a similar fashion.

However, they chose to stick to their ornamental posts. YSR Congress Supporters are worried at the recent developments.
