Polavaram Project is recognized as the National Project in the AP Reorganization Act and that itself makes the project, a national responsibility. But Narendra Modi government instead of trying to address the concerns of Odisha over submerging villages, stopped the funds to the project bowing down to their blackmail.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu however very well know about the importance of the project and so is taking a step forward to solve the problem. Naidu has directed his team to fix an appointment with Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik.
Naidu will be meeting him directly and convince him over the project. Polavaram Multi-purpose project is often called as the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh. It will change the face of the state in agriculture front if completed.
