It is interesting to see who will be winning the Assembly Elections in Andhra Pradesh. Both TDP and YSR Congress are confident about coming to Power. Both the parties are hopeful of a hung government at the Center which would need their support and with that, they are planning to get the Special Status for Andhra Pradesh.
But then, things are not appearing as simple as they are. Leaving about the arithmetic at the Center, now Odisha has started the demand for the Special Category status. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has demanded special category status from the Centre after Cyclone Fani, saying the State faces natural calamities almost every year.
So, with this demand coming from the Multiple States, the new government in Delhi may think twice or thrice before touching the Pandora Box. Both KCR and Naveen Patnaik are not in NDA or UPA, can also trade their support for the Special Status.
