2019 Elections are fast approaching and there are discussions already about the possible alliance partners. BJP is giving feelers about being open to an alliance with YSR Congress if necessary. Jagan’s meeting with the Prime Minister and Venkaiah Naidu’s assertion the other day indicates that something is brewing.
This may be a true plan of BJP or they are trying to get a better bargain from Chandrababu. But then time is ticking on Naidu. The TDP Supremo better learn the demands and expectations of BJP and take a call if the party will go with BJP in the next elections.
If the alliance is meant to be broken, then Naidu will have to change tone on BJP for the next two years and showcase to the people how the saffron party and Jagan entered into a nexus. So, it will be the sooner the better scenario for Chandrababu.
It will be very tough forBJP to support the alliance given the huge corruption cases on Jagan. This alliance will give national level bad name for BJP. So, they should as well prepare ground for the alliance. The next one year will be crucial for all the parties in AP.
