MLA Shankar NarayanaJagan‘s brainchild Gadapa Gadapaku program, as a part of which YCP MLAs are having to go from door to door to get public feedback, is doing more bad than good for the YCP government. The public backlash is clearly to be seen in each and every constituency.

Now, in a shocking turn of events, a YCP MLA had to face the wrath of the common public to an extent that slippers were thrown at him.

Going into the story, Penguonda MLA Shankar Narayana went to Renuka Nagar area to today to take part in the Gadapa Gadapaku program. He was greeted by the locals in a hostile manner.

The locals threw slippers and yelled slurs at the MLA and his men, saying they weren’t seen in public for the last 4 years and now that elections are around the corner, they’ve come to ask for votes.

The MLA had to leave the hostile atmosphere silently before things got further escalated. But the very fact that a YCP MLA was greeted by slippers by the common public shows the kind of anti incumbency in the state currently.
