The YS Jagan government has taken the theaters issue in AP quite seriously. With the court giving a verdict in favor of the ticket prices, CM Jagan had asked the collectors of various districts to personally visit the theaters in AP and seize all those who violate various rules set by the government.
As a part of it, the licenses of six theaters in the Uttarandhra region were seized as they failed to maintain Fire Safety violations.
The joint collector of Vizianagaram, JC Kishore Kumar suddenly raided the theaters Gopala Krishna(Bhogapuram), Sai Krishna(Puspatirega), and S3(Nellimarla) and seized them as they failed to maintain safety license and also sold tickets at higher prices.
A few other theaters were also seized in AP due to the same reason. The news is that the same raids will happen in other areas of the state and the government will take strict action on those who violate the norms.
This has become a new headache for the theater owners and producers and we need to see what else happens in this regards in the days to come.
