Jagan's War on Judiciary - What Legal Experts Say!YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought in a new type of Governance in Andhra Pradesh which is leading to huge losses to Exchequer. The Previous Government has got bicycles and a large number of tractors including loaders hydraulic and garbage collection autos and several implements to be distributed to beneficiaries under the Adarana scheme.

Each bicycle costs 4,000 Rupees and they were supposed to be distributed to the beneficiaries through MPDO offices. But the Model Code of Conduct for the Assembly elections stopped the distribution and the Government has changed. Jagan Government discontinued the scheme and the bicycles and tractors were left to rust inflicting huge losses to the state exchequer.

There are 10,000 such bicycles rusting only in the Anantapur district and several thousands of them were rusting in all the districts. Even if the State Government realizes now, they can be made usable by servicing them. Or everything has to be sold as scrap if the distribution is delayed further.

“This is the biggest problem with this Government. They fear implementing such schemes will lead to TDP getting credit and do not even mind creating huge losses to the public exchequer. He should have at least changed the name of the scheme or put his sticker on them and distribute to the beneficiaries. These are sins of neglect and insecurity,” TDP leaders criticize.
