Telangana Governor, Tamilisai Soundarajan had taken an impressive decision. She had decided that Single-Use Plastic will be banned from Raj Bhavan since today. Tamilisai participated in the Meet and Greet Program arranged in Raj Bhavan today and met people who came to wish her on the festive eve.
“Telangana is like my home. Very soon, I will visit the Tribal areas in the state to know about the problems being faced by them,” the Governor announced. Telangana RTC employees also met the Governor and informed their problems to the Governor.
She assured them the Government will resolve all the issues. It is also known that Telangana Chief Minister KCR earlier this month announced that there would be a complete ban on plastic usage and manufacture in the state. He instructed the officials to prepare a 30 days road map to ban Single-Use plastic.
Governor Tamilisai is being extremely proactive and is reaching out to the people on various issues. Earlier, this month we have seen her talking to the Private Cab Associations and prevent them going on a strike.
