Andhra Pradesh government had received a confirmation from Singapore Experts team that the Master Plan for the upcoming capital, Amaravathi will be submitted on 25th of this month. For giving final touches to the plan, a team will be coming to Hyderabad on 12th of this month.
They will stay here for two days and meet with the two member high level committee appointed by the government. They will finalize the Zonal plan in this meeting and will submit the final Master Plan on 25th. The plan is prepared in accordance to the land that should be given to the farmers as the part of land pooling. Both the land parcels for commercial and residential use are separately marked in the Master Plan.
The seed capital Plan which decides the location of government buildings will be submitted on June 15th. Singapore government already clarified that it will not be bidding for the construction of the capital. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had promised a World Class capital to the state before the elections. He wants to complete the first phase of it before going to the 2019 elections. Most of the constructions in the capital will be executed on Public Private Partnership model or by funding through Overseas Development Agencies.
