Andhra Pradesh government has finalized the Master Developer for the development of 6.84 square km start-up area in Amaravati capital city on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Singapore Consortium is the sole eligible bidder for the project.
Singapore Government will be personally supervising this project and will be very soon setting up Project Monitoring Officer in Amaravati. 656 acres will be developed in the first phase out of the total 1691 acres. The First Phase lands are already with the government through the land pooling.
In the remaining area, there is some land which should be acquired through Land Acquisition and handed over to the Singapore Consortium in One year time. The government will be spending a whopping 5500 Crore for the development of Primary Infrastructure in the area.
