Silly Reasons in Police Complaint Against Chandrababu Naidu?
The other day, Kurnool police have registered a criminal case against former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu under IPC 155, 505(1)(B)(2) sections along with the 2005 Disaster Management Act section 4. It is said to be a non-bailable section case.

A lawyer named Subbaiah complained about Chandrababu saying that the COVID N440K variant originating from Kurnool. He went on to say the complaint is on behalf of the Kurnool Bar Council. The reasons he stated in the complaint appear outright silly, legal experts say.

“Comments about Chandrababu Naidu regarding N440K variant being originating from Kurnool is intended to defame the city. This is a conspiracy to stop Kurnool from becoming the Judicial Capital of Andhra Pradesh,” the complainant stated.

In all probability, the issue may land up in court to decide the merits. On the other side, Telugu Desam Party released proofs about the complainant being an active leader of the YSR Congress Party and alleges that this is a politically motivated case.
