Insider Sources of Telangana BJP claim to have accessed a Survey Report commissioned by TRS Supremo Chandrasekhara Rao. They claim that the survey indicates that the ruling party is riding against the tide in Rural Telangana against the Popular Perception.
They claim that the survey indicated that TRS may only retain 45 out of the total 91 seats it is holding now (along with defectors) and may only win 3 MPs. The report suggests that TRS will be a complete washout in Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Adilabad districts.
There is a TRS wave however in Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Nizamabad areas. We can not vouch for the authenticity of the survey but then, the big question is if TRS is not doing well, who is going to capitalize on the anti-incumbency.
It is definitely not BJP which is not in a position to emerge as a significant force in Telangana. Congress is facing the same problems which it is facing across the country while TDP (TS) is absolutely clueless post-2014 Elections. If this survey is true, it will be a sensational result in 2019.
