Even before the MLAs and MPs have taken oath, there seem to be an exodus of leaders from YSR Congress to the Ruling Telugu Desam Party. Nandyala YSR Congress MP SPY Reddy met TDP Supremo Nara Chandra Babu Naidu a short while ago in New Delhi. It is said that he will be joining very soon. It is also said that Kurnool MP Butta Renuka is also eyeing the yellow party.
YSR Congress cadre and leaders are in utter confusion as there are reports that as many as 30 MLAs are looking at joining TDP now. YSR Congress is just a registered party till date so the Whip which prevents loyalities shifting will not be applicable. Such whip is only applicable to recognized parties. Election Commission is yet to confer the recognition to YSR Congress Party.
