YSR Telangana Party President YS Sharmila, former MLA YS Vijayamma and former minister Konda Surekha were granted relief in the Nampally court in the issue of a code violation in 2012 by-elections in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
The People’s Representatives court dismissed the election code violation case registered against them. The special court in Nampally on Thursday passed judgment in this regard. Seven people, including Sharmila, Vijayamma, Konda Surekha, and Murali, who is accused in the case, appeared in court this morning.
In the by-elections held in the erstwhile Warangal district by-elections in 2012, a fight broke out between Konda Surekha who was in YSR Congress back then, and TRS candidate Bhikshapati. A case of election code violation has been registered in the wake of Sharmila and Vijayamma campaigning in support of Surekha.
