While AP irrigation secretary Sashibushan is gearing up to put its argument on the issue, KRMB Board Secretary reportedly asked who is the owner of Hyderabad.

Telangana said it is them. “When you are the owners, it is your responsibility to ensure water supply for your tenants. You are charging Water Bills and Property Tax for them. Andhra Pradesh government is not getting those Taxes, KRMB Board Secretary said. Telangana became silent on that.

Interestingly, member-secretary Sameer Chatterjee tried to save the face of Telangana on this issue before the media. When media persons asked about the reported proposal by Telangana, Sameer Chatterjee said “It is not a serious issue. The board did not discuss it”. AP officials confirmed what happened in the meeting.
