The other day, we have seen some miscreants destroying the statue of Kapu icon, Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada. Immediately after that, we have seen YSR Congress’ allegations on the government giving rise to doubts that this may be an attempt to instigate Kapu community.
However, that is not an isolated incident and in Kaikaluru of Krishna district, someone had torn away the Banners of Ranga and Chiranjeevi. It was followed by a rally of Chiranjeevi fans in which anti-government slogans are shouted.
Kapu Reservations issue is the only issue which is troubling TDP government since they came to power. TDP leaders are confident that these incidents are not just stray incidents but are intentionally planned by YSR Congress to provoke Kapu community and distance them from TDP.
