The grand TDP Mahanadu commenced in Rajahmundry today. The troops, cadre, and TDP leaders from across Andhra Pradesh are flocking Rajahmundry.
With all the TDP troops assembling in one place, Rajahmundry has turned yellow and there’s huge enthusiasm from TDP followers at the venue.
After the tragic passing of Tarakaratna, this is the first time Lokesh has halted his Yatra as he is taking part in the Mahanadu today. The Yatra momentum is also getting carried into the Mahanadu.
Back in 1993, the Mahanadu was last held in Rajahmundry. And 30 years later, the Mahanadu is back in Rajahmundry. After 93 Mahanadu, TDP won the election in ‘94. Now, TDP troops are hoping history repeats itself as the ‘23 election will be followed by a win in ‘24 election.
Lokesh and Chandrababu are already busy finalizing and announcing the candidates for the MLA segments across the state. This has led to more anticipation on Mahanadu with regard to the candidates announcement.
There’s also a talk that TDP could be announcing 5 of its flagship implementations from the ‘24 election manifesto in this Mahanadu. If this announcement does come out, then the Mahanadu could gain all the attention in the world with the major announcement from TDP coming months before the election.
As it stands, the sentiment factor and the wild confidence from TDP troops, especially after the win in MLC elections have all engulfed in Mahanadu.
