Sensible & Senseless: Telugu Govts On Bheemla NayakPowerstar Pawan Kalyan‘s Bheemla Nayak is releasing tomorrow across the globe. This is the first biggie releasing after the third wave and trade have pinned high hopes on this film to offload their pandemic losses.

At this juncture, both the Telugu governments take completely contrasting stands. Telangana Government has thrown its weight behind Bheemla Nayak. Two ministers and Two MLAs have attended the film’s Pre-release event last night.

The Government also allowed flexible rates and fifth show permission for two weeks to help the movie. KTR in his speech also sold his Government policies and shooting locations at Mallanna Sagar and Kondapochamma Sagar. This is a sensible approach to help the industry flourish which will help enhance the brand image of Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, AP Government takes a contrasting approach. After being liberal with Nagarjuna‘s Bangarraju for Sankranthi, the Government is now forcing to implement G.O No 35 for Bheemla Nayak imposing abnormally low prices for the movie.

This G.O. has been already struck down by the High Court but still, the Government is forced to implement the G.O. rates. This is even as the Chief Minister agreed to give new rates but is harassing the movie on technical grounds (G.O. is issued).

This is a senseless approach that only showcases the autocratic attitude of the AP Government. It is clear that Government is resorting to Vendetta Politics. This is a classic example for any investor to rethink before thinking of making any investment in Andhra Pradesh. When one compares what KTR has done to what Jagan is doing, we can clearly see the sensible and senseless approaches.
