Only the other day, we have published a report that the works of the Prestigious Khairathabad Ganesh will begin from May 18th. But then, Ganesh Utsav Committee dropped its decision at the last minute. A 66 feet statue was planned this year on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Committee formation.
The committee had announced that it will just put up a statue of One foot this year. They have announced that the decision to put up a giant statue was dropped due to the Corona Outbreak. The Karra Pooja which was planned on the 18th of this month now stands canceled.
The statue will be put up at the same place as every year and all the rituals will be conducted like every year. That will mean that there will be no Hungama of devotees standing in serpentine queues to have the darshan of the Lord.
Vinayaka Chaviti falls on August 22nd this year. Let us all pray to the almighty that things will become normal in the World at least by then.
