Telangana Elections are done and dusted. Telangana Rashtra Samiti returns to Power with a Sensational 88 Seats Tally while the Mahakutami Parties just got 21. Congress, the Principal Opposition landed up with 19 while TDP got just Two. Many Seniors have lost in this election but then the problems of the party are far from over.
The Seniors who have lost these elections are keen on resurrecting their Political Careers by contesting in the Parliament Elections. They have already started overriding the current Incharges in the Parliamentary Segments. This will create new headaches for the party which is already low on morale and confidence.
Many of the seniors have lost touch with the electorate after the state Bifurcation. Moreover, funds have dried up under the KCR Government so there is not much progress on the development front as well. So, there are doubts if they can succeed in the Parliament Elections as well. In case they are refused tickets, they may self destruct the party prospects in those Segments. So, the party high command is worried.
