Selection-Dilemma-for-Team-India-Ahead-of-Windies-Match---CWC-2019Team India is the only team along with New Zealand which is unbeaten in this World Cup so far. The team struggled to win against Afghanistan in the last match but won due to Mohammed Shami’s last over hattrick. Shami played the match in the place of injured Pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

Bhuvi picked up a niggle and pulled out of the game against Pakistan after bowling only 2.4 overs. After missing Afghanistan match, the pacer turned up at an indoor net session two days before the game against West Indies. That brings a new question to the team management about the selection.

Will they have to retain the in-form Shami or bring back Bhuvi? The team management is yet to take a decision but they may be tempted to rest him for one more match and bring him for the match against England. India will take on West Indies on Friday at Manchester. West Indies are in the eighth position in the points table losing four matches and one No Result out of the Six Matches they played.

They will, however, take inspiration from their spirited performance against New Zealand. Windies missed winning the match by a whisker despite the heroics of Carlos Brathwaite. According to the met department, it is going to be a sunny day ruling out the possibility of another washout.
