There is a mad rush at all the Metro Rail Stations in Miyapur-Nagole route since its inauguration. Hyderabad Metro Rail broke all records of Metros commencing commercial operations with 2 lakh commuters on Day-1.
The number of travelers fell to nearly 1 lakh on the second day on Thursday. But security problems galore at the stations. As revealed by data analytics captured by 1,536 cameras on the Nagole-Ameerpet-Miyapur route, Hyderabadis took 40,000 selfies at Metro rail premises on Wednesday.
Photography is banned on Metro Rail and the cameras also revealed that many people indulging in drunken behavior after 6 pm. There are 64 cameras at each Metro station and trains covering every inch of the space and recording every activity.
