Telangana government seem to be undecided about the location of the new secretariat. Earlier we have the news that Erragadda hospital, Erragadda Chest hospital, then Secunderabad Parade grounds and now the 60-acre Bison polo ground at Bolarum were considered for the new secretariat.
Initially Chest hospital is the choice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao but after technical difficulties, he considered Parade grounds and Bison grounds. He even met Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and requested him to swap the Bison Grounds with an alternate land parcel at some other place.
However the response from Parikkar seem to be not satisfactory. On Wednesday, in a media interaction, KCR totally turned down the news of considering Bison Grounds and said Erragadda is very much in their plans. Given all this ambiguity we may conclude that the Telangana government still has no clarity regarding the relocation of the secretariat.
