thullur-farmerA new problem has erupted in the upcoming capital region of Andhra Pradesh. The government has already announced that the previous crop season is the last crop in the CRDA limits and the next crop can not be sowed here. However so far only about 8000 acres were submitted to the CRDA.

Few farmers especially those from the villages near to Krishna River who are not willing to submit their lands to the government are gearing up to sow the next crop which the CRDA says is illegal. They say CRDA will not have control over those lands which are not submitted to the capital and CRDA commissioner can not dictate terms to them regarding what they should do with their own lands.

YSR Congress MLA from Mangalagiri, Rama Krishna Reddy is encouraging the farmers here to go to the courts against the prevention of second crop. Since it is a sensitive issue, government is thinking twice before it can proceed further on this issue
