YSR Congress Rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju finds himself in more trouble. The Chennai Unit of CBI booked Ind Bharath Power Gencom limited owned by him and his family in a 237.84 Crore Bank Fraud case.
This is the second such case on the MP in six months. The case was registered by SBI Chennai and on the allegations that the company used forged documents to siphon bank funds to the tune of 237.84 Crore back in 2006.
Ind Bharath Power Gencom limited is a coal-based power plant of 189 MW capacity in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin. The plant was shut down in 2017. The company even submitted fake audit report by manipulations and fabrication of financial transactions, the CBI found.
