SC-Notices-to-Jayalalithaa-Looks like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa is in trouble once again. The Supreme Court today served notices to Jayalalithaa and the others in this case after Karnataka government appealed against the verdict of the high court which acquitted them.

Supreme court also took the petitions of some others in this case. However the court refused to issue stay on the acquittal of Jayalalithaa in this case. If Supreme Court convicts Jaya in this case, she will have to resign once again and go to jail.

Jayalalithaa was acquitted by the Karnataka high court basing on arithmetic errors. The court arrived at the conclusion that their assets were in tune of her income tax filing after those errors. After the acquittal, she ascended the CM throne once again.
