Sattenapalle constituency result in 2019 dealt a shock to TDP after Ambati Rambabu defeated Kodela Siva Prasada Rao with a whopping 21K majority.
Later, Kodela committed suicide unable to take the humiliation by the Ruling Government.
Even though there is respect for Kodela in the Palnadu region, YSR Congress defamed Kodela alleging massive corruption by his son and daughter using its well-oiled machinery of I-PAC.
TDP cadre is also angry with Kodelas son, Shivaram for the same reason.
Shivaram is expecting a TDP Sattenapalle ticket in 2024 hoping that sympathy over his father’s death will help him. But then Chandrababu is not keen on giving him the ticket.
Shivaram is trying to work on the ground and erase past memories in the public.
Chandrababu reportedly clarified to Shivaram that he can not be given the seat in 2024 and asked him to work for the party.
Shivaram is planning Kodela’s Vardhanti program on a large scale. Shivaram may give clarity about his future plans on that day.
