Sasikala in Jail: Paneer Still Struggling for NumbersAll those hopes of AIADMK MLAs rushing to O Panneerselvam after Sasikala going behind the bars seems to be not working. Last Evening, Sasikala surrendered in the court and was shifted to Parappana Agrahara Prison in Bengaluru.

But then Panneerselvam is still struggling to win the confidence of the MLAs. As of now, only 11 MLAs are supporting Panneerselvam. On the other side, Adapadi Palanisamy claims the support of 124 MLAs in his meeting with Governor last night.

Tamil Media Reports suggest that the Governor may invite Palanisamy to take the oath this evening or tomorrow morning. Once he takes the oath, he will be given 3-7 days time to take a floor test in the Assembly and prove his majority.

If Panneerselvam manages to bring MLAs to his side by then, Palanisamy’s stay as the Chief Minister will be short lived. Amid all these internal tussles in AIADMK, DMK is also fancying its chances with a possible mid-term election. In case Palanisamy wins the floor test comfortably, it will be more or less a closing card to Panneerselvam’s Political Career.
