The new political party in the state on the basis of Samaikyandhra Andhra is making waves since the last few days. We have been seeing few wall posters and hoardings of the party in several towns of Seema Andhra region in the past few days. And now there is a Public Notice in Newspapers about ‘Samaikya Prajavani’ party and objections related to the name will be heard in one month time.
Political circles say it is the party to be launched by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. There is a lot of talk that he will be resigning after his speech in the Assembly over Telangana issue. Sources say Lagadapati Rajagopal, Vijayawada MP is playing active role in the party setup and initial publicity. Several MLAs and Ministers from Congress Party are expected to jump the wall if this party came in to existence. However, Kiran and his coterie are keeping mum about the party as of now.
