In what can be termed as a mockery of its own party, Sakshi Newspaper has published a news item which fizzes out the so-called efforts towards the Special Status. We already know Jagan Mohan Reddy declaring Resignation of MPs and even No Confidence Motion on the Central Government.
But this particular news item about the growing strength of BJP in Rajya Sabha says that the party will be in a comfortable position with the support of friendly non-NDA parties like TRS, YSR Congress etc. If Sakshi itself says YSR Congress is the friendly party of the Central Government, there is no point in so-called fighting against the Center.
Even though it was evident many times that Jagan has compromised to keep himself in safety from the cases, this is a self-goal at this moment.This may also support the claim of TDP that YSR Congress is ready to join NDA if the Yellow Party makes an exit.
That will leave the Central Assistance fight only in the hands of TDP alone. But then, we may have to brace up for more drama with that No Confidence Motion of YSR Congress planned on March 21st. Also this report may ascertain that YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vijaya Sai Reddy will not resign.
