Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made an emotional speech in the assembly regarding his uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder. He gave a clean chit to his MP YS Avinash Reddy saying that they are all a family and why would anybody damage his own eye.
He further went on to allege TDP is involved in the murder even though not a single person of that party has been named in the chargesheet filed by the CBI. Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Sakshi Newspaper seems to be not buying Jagan’s ‘Why would anybody damage his own eye?’ theory.
The Newspaper carried a big article today alleging that YS Viveka’s son-in-law is the main conspirator behind the murder due to financial disputes. If Avinash Reddy as a relative would not kill Viveka, why would another relative kill him? mocks the TDP supporters.
They also say if Viveka’s son-in-law is involved in this case, his wife (Viveka’s daughter Sunitha) would have let the issue die. She would not have gone to the high court and asked for a CBI inquiry. Anyways, Jagan dropped the petition for CBI inquiry and the case investigation slowed down significantly after a change in the Government.
