The Letter written by Leader of the Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi the other day over the Income Declaration Scheme – 2016 has become a talking point in political circles but for wrong reasons. Jagan Mohan Reddy brought it to the notice of the Prime Minister that Chandrababu Naidu is revealing the declarations figure of the Telugu States and one person of Hyderabad.
The Opposition Leader asked Modi how Naidu could get hold of the details while the CBDT and Finance Minister confirmed that such breakups and other details will not be revealed. But then Jagan seem to have done Zero homework before writing the letter to the Prime Minister. The details of 13000 Crore declarations from AP and Telangana and one person from Hyderabad declaring 10000 Crore is all over the media.
In fact, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s own Sakshi media performed the news significantly in the News Paper. But now Jagan all of sudden is questioning the Prime Minister how the information got leaked to Chandrababu Naidu. This also establishes the fact that Jagan Mohan Reddy is not at the top of the current affairs which is a basic requirement for a politician and here we are talking about a state’s Opposition Leader.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also enclosed a book which contained Sakshi’s allegations on Chandrababu and told the Prime Minister that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu amassed One Lakh and Fifty Thousand Crore through corruption in this Two and Half Years rule. This is another bid to erase his ‘Laksha Kotla Avineeti’ mark from people’s memory.
