Advisor to Andhra Pradesh Government (Public Affairs), Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy has become the voice of the Chief Minister. Sajjala briefs the media almost everything about the government and the party almost on daily basis.
From PRC issue to Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder Case, Sajjala has some theory or the other in favor of the party and Government. Neither the Chief Minister nor the cabinet Ministers talks so much to media as Sajjala. The oratory skills and general knowledge of Jagan Mohan Reddy were not upto the level, we have seen in various review meetings.
After a lot of bloopers, Jagan decided not to talk before the media. At the same time, his cabinet colleagues are equally bad if not worse. Also Jagan do not trust them to talk on important issues. So some one like Sajjala was pressed into service.
Even though it looks simple and all good, this strategy may backfire with the people. Public will never like someone (who is not related to politics) interfere in policy matters. We have seen that happening even with the mighty NTR in Lakshmi Parvathi issue.
Sajjala never contested an election till date and was an employee of Sakshi previously. It is okay if some one from the cabinet is doing that. If he is running a parallel government from outside, people will definitely not like that. We have seen him at the center of the storm in Chalo Vijayawada of the employees.
When the time comes, we will see more of such revolts from the public. It’s better if Jagan Mohan Reddy takes a sane decision.
