As the CBI investigation in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s case is going deep, YSR Congress is getting into neck-deep trouble. The CBI has gone to the extent of questioning Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and arrest may be imminent from here.
Jagan deployed his Principal Advisor Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy for damage control.
Sajjala seems to have lost it completely and messed up the whole issue.
We have seen him defending Avinash Reddy and at the same time, making obnoxious comments about Vivekananda Reddy’s second marriage, etc. It is clear that Sajjala is character assassinating YSR’s own brother to defend his own MP who according to CBI’s chargesheet is the conspirator in this murder.
The argument of CBI acting on Chandrababu’s instruction is even silly.
Political experts say that Sajjala may have misled Jagan with the wrong advice in this case.
“YSR Congress should have maintained distance with Avinash saying the law will take its course. They can completely dissociate with Avinash if proven guilty. At best, Avinash may join BJP but Kadapa MP seat is any day a safe seat for YSR Congress. Sajjala may have misled Jagan with wrong advice,” they say.
