Central government finally intervened in the ongoing RTC division between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari sat with the Chief Secretaries of both the states a short while ago in Delhi.
It is said that the World’s largest Public Transport fleet will be divided in to four corporations. The officials have already started the calculation of assets and liabilities for the division. The corporation is already maintaining separate accounts for both the states after the appointed day.
RTC in Telangana will be profitable due to the huge presence of city transport in Hyderabad while it will continue to be in heavy losses in Andhra Pradesh.
