Like weather prediction models, statistics models depending on the prevailing condition and rough estimates based on various other factors, the rough estimate of the deaths in the US in the coming days has come out.
According to that prediction that came out from the White House, there is a probability of 100,000 and 240,000 deaths in the best case scenario. The death count in the US has currently crossed 26,000 with more than 600,000 positive cases registered so far. So, one can see the obvious.
Though the estimates may vary in the coming days if the vaccine for Coronavirus comes out or improvement in the medicine to control the pandemic.
As of now, the situation is quite grim and one can see the gravity of the situation with growing concerns and the statistics coming out every day.
The death estimate is just a rough model not intended to create more panic among the people. This might help to plan strategies for containment of the virus and also create awareness among the citizens regarding the need for the precautionary measures.
