A recent debate between actress cum politician YRCP MLA Roja and actor producer Bandla Ganesh has proved once again the lack of maturity in Indian politics. The debate that was aired on TV covered the speech of Pawan Kalyan containing his recent comments on YS Jaganmohan Reddy. While Bandla Ganesh made his presence in the Tv sudio, Roja was tuned in via a call.
The debate soon got heated both MLA Roja and Bandla stooped to a level that would have previously been unthinkable. The war of words soon had them throwing away their dignity and uttering unmentionable words. While Ganesh called Roja a ‘golden leg,’ she responded saying ‘Pakkanundi Pakkalestunnava Pawan Kalyan ki’!! and “Pallu Raltayi ra Yedava.” Bandla Ganesh who was no better responded with “Nuuvu ‘straight’ ga heroine ayyava mari”!
This incident has once again exposed the character of our political debates on Tvs these days. The way YRCP MLA Roja and Bandla Ganesh fought on TV debate is so shameful, it cannot be watched with family. This debate has also given us a look into the expected campaigning for 2019 general election elections. If politics can stoop to such level now itself, imagine the kind of heat we will see during the election time!
